Can I return or cancel my order?
No. All sales are final. We do not offer returns, cancellations, or refunds under any circumstances. Please double-check your order before checking out.
I ordered the wrong size/item—can I exchange it?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer exchanges. All sales are final once the order is placed.
Shipping
Where do you ship from?
All orders are shipped from the Netherlands.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping to the USA and other overseas destinations typically takes 3–8 weeks via standard post, sometimes longer depending on your local postal service.
We also offer DHL Express as a faster shipping option at checkout. DHL Express usually delivers in 3–7 business days.

Is tracking included?
Tracking is not included by default. You must select and pay for the “Tracking” option at checkout if you want a trackable shipment. Without it, only a shipping confirmation will be available.
Do I have to pay customs or import duties?
Yes. If your country charges import taxes, customs fees, or handling costs, these are your responsibility as the buyer. We do not cover or reimburse any international duties. Please check your country's import policies before ordering.
My tracking shows it's stuck in Frankfurt—is it lost?
No. This is normal for non-tracked shipments. The code you see is a shipping confirmation showing handoff from DHL (Netherlands) to Deutsche Post (Germany). After that, no more tracking updates are available.
What if my order hasn't arrived after several weeks?
If it has been over 8 weeks, please check with your local postal office and use the DHL Global Mail tracking page to check on your parcel's status: dhl.com/global-en/home/tracking.html.

My package is tracked but hasn't arrived. Who's responsible?
Even if you select the tracking option, once your package has been handed over to DHL Global Mail, it is out of our control. Distant is not liable for lost, delayed, or mishandled shipments.

Returned Orders
My package was returned—what happens now?
If a package is returned due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, we can resend it, but you must provide a new address and pay for reshipping (€12). We recommend using a friend or family member’s address if possible.
My order was returned but no reason was provided.
Sometimes postal services do not specify why a package is returned. In such cases, we will resend it using a different courier. Please allow extra time for it to reach you again.
Inventory
The item I ordered is out of stock—what now?
If a product you ordered is out of stock, we will contact you to offer alternate sizing, a different item, or a recent restock. You can choose what suits you best.
Will sold-out items be restocked?
Most of our drops are limited edition and won’t be restocked. Follow us on Instagram @distantofficial or subscribe to our newsletter to catch future releases.
